Pumpkin Patch!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!

Hi all!

Well its finally here!! Halloween! I hope everyone has a safe and great time tonight! I'm so rush to get this post out before we start getting ready for trick or treating! I didn't do any pumpkin nails this Halloween. So, I did a different take on them and just did a simple pumpkin patch. I used Nina Ultra Pro - Cappuccino as the base and a mixture of acrylic. Hope you like them! I think they are so cute!

Pink~n~Blue!

Hi all!

Well this weekend is kinda rush rush for me. I have pumpkin craving and party's and not to mention Trick r Treating! Ha one of the joys of having a kid is you can blame all the fun on him! Cause you know being a grown up and all. :) Till today its just been icky cold and wet, making me all gloomy. So I need to feel my inner princess with a mani!  Here you go! I started with a base coat of Sally Hansen - Pink Promise and did the tips in Pure Ice - Once Again!. They are both sheer light colors. All but made for that happy feeling.. Then added a flower stamp from Konad m4 plate, to class it up. I then just dotted a blue acrylic in the center of the flower to make it pop abit more. Hope you like!
Hope everyone has a great Halloween! Not sure if ill get another post in before Monday.

Tangerine!

Hi all!

Yesterday and today is just yucky around here. Rain and cold just makes everyone cranky. So to brighten it up I have a Bright swatch!
This is NYC - Times Square Tangerine Creme. I loved this color in the bottle. It had a milky orange-ish melon look. After I put it on it was abit darker then what I was thinking. Still a pretty color just a little disappointing. Kinda like when you take drink thinking its coke and it tea instead. Like most of NYC polishes I found it streaky and did 3 coats to get a nice even look to it. All in all I like the color its different from the normal orange.

Melon Flowers

Hi All!

Wow! Today has been such an exciting day with the Liebster Awards. Giving and receiving is so much fun!
So Nails Nails Nails! I was kinda stuck on what to do with this color. So, I started to piddle and this is what I came up with. It kinda looks like a old fashion flower wall paper! I think it turned out really great !
I used NYC - Times Square Tangerine cream and Black acrylic paint.

Bordeaux Anyone!

Hi All!

Hope everyone is having a great Tuesday! Nina Ultra Pro - Bordeaux is such a rich dark wine color. When  light hits it it has a bright red glint to it. Hit it another way in the light it has a glint of  a reddish purple. But always keeps it darkness. I so love this color I've had it forever! This color has never liked being removed and likes to bleed with Acetone. These pictures have no top coat they are just that glossy. Did I mention I love this color!

Red~n~Gold!

Hi All!

How is everyone's weekend going? I'm sad to see it coming to an end! So, I'm out of the Halloween mode for a bit!. I wanted to show two of my favorite colors together! They are Nina Ultra Pro's - Bordeaux and Gold Leaf. I use these two together alot because I love the antique look it gives with any stamp I choose to use. I used three Konad stamps on two plates M21, M15 for two butterflies and line braid design. I tried to take pictures every where to get good pictures. The gold leafing is so light on the Bordeaux that it was hard. So, I hope the pictures kinda give you the idea. I just love these!

Hello Kitty!

Hi all!

So here is something fun! I received these Hello Kitty 3D with glitter stickers in 4 different designs from a Born Pretty Store giveaway.

I'm not the biggest fan of Hello Kitty. Thou she cute in small doses. I used Pure Ice - Splash for the base coat. Then I used NYC - Classic Coral Cream and made an alternating checker board on each finger. I recommend when choosing your colors to see which color covers the other color the best. If I would have used the pink as a base the blue would not have covered well. Then I used Konad - White to dot in each square till I was happy with it. When it dried I put a top coat on to even the polish out from the dots and let it full dry.
Then I added one of each sticker to the center of each checkerboard so it is mostly equal in each square. The stickers themselves were easy enough to get off. But I disagree with the instructions that says to pull off with your nails. I always find bending the back till the sticker edge peels away and using tweezers lightly to peel off and place where you like, works the best. After I placed them I rubbed them lightly, making sure they were sealed good to the nail. Especially with mine being a bit uneven from the dotting. Then using a top coat to completely seal the sticker to the nail.  TA DA your done Pretty kitty nails!!
